Here is the first chapter of my 1st fanfiction of "Dreams"It's a SM story of course!

Chapter 1:Accidents
Dr. Andy Campbell walked into the RHWC. Lana and Lu were sitting at Lana's talking. "Good moning Dr. Campbell," Lana said, her mouth full with her breakfast. Andy laughed. "Good morning Hawkins..Delgado," Andy said. "Hey Andy, when you have a chance later, could we talk?" Lu asked. "Sure, Delgado. Come and find me later okay?" Andy said. Lu nodded her head and Andy walked into her office. She placed her briefcase on her desk and took of her coat. Replacing it with her white lab coat that has become a huge part of her. The intercom came on from above. 'Dr. Campbell to the E.R., Dr. Campbell to the E.R.' Andy sighed and walked out of her office. She walked down into the E.R. "Who paged Campbell?" she asked. "Over here," Nick called out. "Let's hear it Biancavilla," Andy said, walking up to him. "Hit and run-she's in her twenties and is 20 weeks pregant. "Okay, I want an ultrasound, CBC and Chem 7 stat!" Andy said. The young women started to open her eyes. "Mam do you know where you're at?" Andy asked. "The..the hospital?" young women said. "That's right, what's your name?"Andy asked, looking at her chart. "Um..Jane...is my baby okay?" she asked. "That's what we're trying to figure out," Andy said, you call my husband please?" Jane asked. "Sure, right after we take care of you and your baby," Andy said, starting the ultrasound. After a few minutes Andy said, "Okay she's bleeding, we need to get up to the O.R. now!" Andy called out. "What's wrong? Is the baby okay?" Jane asked. "I don't know. You have some bleeding in your belly that we need to get out right away," Andy said, pulling up the bars on the gurney. "Okay, just keep my baby safe, please," Jane said, and they ran up to the O.R.
Andy walked back down to the RHWC after the long and tiring surgery. "Hey Hawkins," Andy said. "Hey Dr. Campbell," Lana said. "Milo hasn't called down here has he?" Andy asked. Lu walked up to Lana's desk. "I needed Milo for a consult but they said that he wasn't here yet," Lu said. "Really? He must be coming in later," Andy said. Lu sighed. "What's wrong Delgado?" Andy asked, signaling her to her office. They walked into Andy's office. "Okay spill..what's up?" Andy said. "It's just...with Marc at his dad's I'm just really lonely and I just..."Lu said. Andy nodded her head. "Yeah I know the feeling, kids at their dad's..no boyfriend. It sucks."Andy said. "Well you got lucky, you got Milo," Lu said. Andy smiled at him name. "Yeah..but I'm sure that you'll find someone soon," Andy said. Lu nodded. "So enough about me, when is Milo gonna pop the question?" Lu said. "What?" Andy said. "Oh come on Andy, everyone can see what you two have, is he ever going to pop the question?" Lu said. Andy laughed. "Well that's up to him," Andy said. "Don't you want to get married to him?" Lu said. Andy smiled. "Actually...yeah..I do," Andy said. Lu laughed. "Without the pun right?" Lu said, laughing. It was now getting later and Milo still hadn't arrived to work and Andy was getting worried. She sat in her office trying to call him when she got a page. She was needed in the E.R. Andy sighed, hung up the phone and ran down to the E.R. "Who paged Campbell?" Andy asked, walking into the E.R. "Over here,"Lu called out. "Delgado..what is.." Andy stopped in mid-sentence when she got to Lu. "Oh my god! Milo!" Andy said.

Chapter 2: We'll Be Okay, Right?

The montior beeped queitly. Andy sat there staring at Milo. She was trying to fight back tears, but it was useless. The tears fell. There was a knock on the door and Lu walked in. "Hey Andy," Lu said, walking over to her. "Delgado," Andy said, not taking her eyes off of Milo. "Andy...do you have any idea on what could have happened?" Lu asked. Andy shook her head. "No, I haven't talked to him since last night," Andy said. She touched Milo's hand, wondering if he could feel her. Lu nodded her head. "Okay," Lu said and she walked out. "Oh god Milo, what happened? I wish you would wake up and talk to me," Andy said, almost in a whisper voice. Again, she wondered if he could hear her. She placed her hand in his and cried some more. She cried for seemed liked years but it was only for about an hour. She wiped her eyes with her other hand, not moving her hand that was placed in Milo's. She sighed and talked to Milo again. "Milo," she said, stroking his head. "I wish you would wake up and be with me," Andy said, Her tears were building up again. She let them fall once again. She kept her hand in Milo's and layed back in her chair. After she got some-what comfortable she cried herself to sleep.


Andy? Andy...wake up!" Lu said, shaking Andy. Andy opened her eyes. "How long was I asleep?" she wondered. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked up at Lu. "What time is is Delgado?" Andy said, sitting up. Her neck hurt from sleeping in that hard chair. "It's 8 a.m," Lu said. "Don't you need to get home to Jesse and Lizzy?" Lu asked. Andy shook her head. "They're in California with Les for another week," Andy said. "Oh okay," Lu said. Andy turned her attention back to Milo. She sighed and after a moment and said, "Is he going to wake-up?" Lu sighed. "I don't know," Lu said. Andy looked back to Lu. "What do you mean you don't know?" Andy asked. "I mean, I really don't know Andy," Lu said, feeling tears build up in her eyes. Tears were already built up in Andy's eyes and she was already letting them fall. Andy looked back to Milo. "Andy, why don't you go get some coffee or something?" Lu said. Andy shook her head. "I don't want to leave Milo," Andy said, touching his hand again. "Okay, but you have to have something later okay?" Lu said. Andy nodded her head and Lu walked out. Andy wiped her eyes and just stared at Milo. "Oh Milo," Andy said and sighed. "You'll be okay, I know it. You're a fighter. You have to stay here with me and the girls...we need you, we love you," Andy said.

Chapter 3: Wake Up

Andy cried herself to sleep that night once again. She stayed in the room with Milo unless she had to use the restroom. Lu convinced her to get a cup of coffee, but she didn't eat. She didn't want to. Not when the love of her life is fighting for his life. Lu and Andy sat drinking coffee and Andy was silent. Lu was starting to get worried but she didn't say anything. She let Andy drink her coffee in silence. Later that day, Peter walked in to try and keep Andy company, but the whole time she just stared at Milo. He was still breathing on his own, he just wasn't waking up. He had normal brain activity and everything else was fine...but why wouldn't he wake up? Andy wondered that the whole day. She finally cried her self to sleep and fell into a deep sleep with a deep dream:

The sun shone brightly onto the damp sand. The waves crashed lightly against her toes. Milo had his arms wrapped around her, holding her, protecting her. She leaned her head on his shoulder, letting him keep her safe and warm. He placed his head on top of hers and stared out into the ocean. His gentle touch gave her a warm feeling. She smiled at him and he smiled back at her. It was perfect, they were perfect. She has never loved anyone like she loves him. Sure she loved Les, but this was different. Milo understood her, and she understood him. They knew what each other was feeling and thinking. He kissed her gently upon her lips and gladly returned the kiss. But then the waves got worse and worse and eventually flooded, carrying Milo away from her.

Andy woke with a startle. She was breathing heavily. "It was just dream. Just a dream," Andy thought herself. She felt sweat pouring down her face again. She looked at Milo and saw the gentle rise and fall of his chest. She sighed and pushed her hair back. She finally calmed down, but didn't want to go to sleep. She saw Milo starting to stir and felt her breath stop. "Milo?" she whispered, leaning over towards him. His eyes starting to open slowly. "Milo?" she whispered again. "Andy?" he asked, barely whispering. Andy felt her breath come back to her and she smiled at him. "I'm here Milo, I'm here," she whispered stroking his hair. He started to smile at her and she kissed him on the cheeks. "What happend Milo?" Andy asked, still stroking his hair. "Drunk driver, swerved and we hit," Milo said. Tears started to fall down Andy's face. "Okay, why don't you get some rest?" Andy said. "Will you stay here with me?" he asked. "Of course," Andy said. He moved over on the bed, making room for Andy. She smiled and layed next to him. She placed her arm around him and he layed his head on her chest. She smiled and kissed him on top of his head. Andy and Milo fell asleep in each other's arms

Lu walked into the room the next day and saw Andy and Milo asleep. She smiled and walked over to Andy. She gently shook Andy. Andy opened her eyes and looked at Lu. She smiled at Lu and Lu smiled back. "He woke up last night," Andy said, smiling. Lu smiled at her. "I'm glad," Lu said. She gave Andy a squeese on her shoulder and left. Andy kissed Milo on top of his head and he woke-up. "Hey," Andy whispered. "Hi," Milo whispred, looking at her. "Thank you for staying here with me," Milo said. Andy smiled at him. "So when do I get out of here?" Milo asked. Andy laughed. "Well there was nothing that serious with you when you got brought in. You didn't need surgery or anything like that. You'll just have a couple bruises and a couple broken ribs but other than that..."Andy said. Milo started at her. "If I beg Lu, maybe today," Andy said. Milo nodded his head. Lu walked in about an hour later. She told Milo that he could go home, just not alone. After talking to him, she left to get the discharge papers. "Milo, would you like me to come home with you?" Andy asked him. "What about the girls?" he asked. "They don't come home for another 5 days," Andy said. "I think that should be enough," she added. Milo nodded and Andy took him home.

Andy and Milo layed on his couch that evening. Andy had made him dinner and gave him medicine to get rid of his pain. They layed side by side, Andy resting her head on his shoulder. "You know I stayed with you in that hospital room until today," Andy said. "Really?" Milo said. "Yeah. The only time I left was to go pee and get a coffee," Andy said. Milo smiled at her. "Why?" he asked. "Because, I..." Andy began. She felt a lump in her throat, but igorned it. "Because..I love you," Andy said, looking up at him. Milo smiled at her. He looked into her eyes. "I love you too Andy," Milo said. Andy felt the tears again and smiled at him. "Really?" Andy asked. Milo nodded. She lifted her head and kissed him gently on the lips.

Chapter 4: Do You Love Me?

The sun peaked out of the curtain. Andy slowly opened her eyes. It took a minute to realize where she was. Then she remembered. She and Milo had fallen asleep on the couch. She looked at Milo and saw that he was still asleep. She smiled at him and kissed him gently. He opened his eyes and smiled at her. "Good morning," Andy said. "Morning," Milo said, starting to realize where they were. "Did we fall asleep here?" Milo asked her. Andy nodded. "Yeah I guess so," she said. Milo started to laugh. "Well it's better than that hospital bed," he said. "Yeah," Andy said. Andy layed her head back on Milo's shoulder and sighed. "What's wrong?" Milo asked. "Hmmm? Oh nothing," Andy said. Andy and Milo layed there for another 15 minutes, just laying there, being together. "I love you," Milo said. Andy smiled and looked up at him. "I love you too," Andy said, and Milo smiled at her. He kissed her gently on the lips and Andy gladly returned the kiss. "How are you feeling?" Andy asked when they parted. "A little sore," Milo said. "Do you want some medicine?" Andy asked him, sitting up. Milo shook his head. "You sure?" Andy aksed. "Yeah," Milo said. Andy smiled at him and he sat up. "Do you have to go in to work today?" Milo asked. "Lu said that she would cover for me," Andy said. Milo nodded his head and said, "What do you say we go to the park for the day?" Andy smiled. "That sounds good," Andy said.

Andy and Milo walked to the park, hand in hand. They found a spot underneath a shady tree and sat down on the blanket they brought. Milo leaned back on the tree and Andy sat in front in him. She leaned back and rested her head on his chest. Milo wrapped his arms around her and she snuggled into him. A cool breeze came through and touched Andy in the face. Andy and Milo spent about an hour sitting there and talking. They talked about all sorts of things. From Jesse and Lizzy to work. When they were done talking, they sat there enjoying the peace and enjoying each other's company. Milo kissed Andy on her head and started to gently stroke her shoulder. Andy's skin tingled from his touch, but she loved it. "Do you love me?" Milo asked, out of the blue. "Yeah of course," Andy said, starting to get worried. "Then will you do me something important?" Milo asked her. Andy turned and faced him. "Anything," she said. Milo pulled something out of his pocket. Andy knew what it was. "Will you marry me?" Milo asked, opening the little black box. Inside was a silver ring with the most beautiful diamond Andy has ever seen. Tears started to fall down Andy's face. "Yes." she said. Milo smiled and pulled out the ring. He placed the box on the ground and placed the ring on Andy's finger. After he placed on her, he kissed her. It was a long and passionate kiss. When they parted, Andy cuddled into his arms. After a few moments of silence, Milo said, "The ring was my great-grandmothers. She gave it to my dad to give it to my mom. And my mom gave it to me to give to you," Andy smiled. "It's beautiful Milo. I love you," Andy said, looking up at him. "I love you too Andy," Milo said. Milo bent down and kissed her, he loved her and now she was his.

Chapter 5: News

Andy was sitting in her office going over a patient file. She had taken five days off and was behind. Jesse and Lizzy were coming home today and she had tell them good news. After she told them, she would tell everyone else. Andy had been dodging Lu and Lana all day. She didn't want to tell them the news just yet. She siged and looked at her ring finger. The ring glistened in the light. She smiled and went back to her patient file. A few minutes there was a small knock on the door. "Mommy?" Lizzy asked, opening the door and walking in. "Hey sweetie," Andy said, standing up from her desk and giving her daughter a hug. Jesse stood right behind Lizzy. "Hey honey," Andy said, hugging Jesse. "Hi mom," Jesse said, returning her mother's hug. "Um.girls, we need to talk about something important. Come sit down," Andy said, leading the girls to the couch. Andy pulled up a chair and sat across from them. "um...mom," Lizzy said. "Hold on sweetie okay?" Andy said. Lizzy nodded her head. "Girls um..what do you think about Milo?" Andy asked. "He's cool, why?" Jesse said. "I like him," Lizzy said. "That's good," Andy said. "Why mom? What's up?" Jesse asked. "Well how would you feel if Milo and I got married?" Andy asked. "That would be cool!" Lizzy said, smiling. "Yeah that would!" Jesse said. "Well I am glad that you feel that way, because..we're getting married," Andy said, showing Jesse and Lizzy her ring. "That's so awesome!" Jesse said. "It's a pretty ring," Lizzy said. "Mom this is wonderful but..um..." Jesse said. "What is it Jesse? You can tell me anything," Andy said."um...daddy is here," Lizzy said, finishing her sister's sentence. "What do you mean daddy is here...?" Andy said, looking at her daughters. "We mean that...he's kinda right behind you," Jesse said. Andy stared at Jesse and Lizzy and turned around slowly. Sure enough, there was Les standing the doorway.


Andy sighed and turned back to the girls. "Um..girls why don't you go find Lu and tell her all about your trip while I talk to your dad okay?" Andy said. Jesse and Lizzy nodded and walked out the door. Andy slowly stood up. "Les...come on in," Andy said. Les walked in. "So you're a...you're gettin married huh?" Les said. "Yeah..I am..to a great guy," Andy said. Les sighed. "Well uh..I was just uh, making sure the girls got in okay," Les said. Andy nodded her head. "Well they did," Andy said. Les nodded and there was a small knock on the door. "Come in," Andy said, turning her attention to the door. Milo walked in. "Hey Andy, I.." Milo said, but stopped when he saw Les. Andy took a deep breath in. "Milo this is..Les, and Les..this is Milo, my fiance," Andy said walking over to Milo. Les nodded his head. "Nice to meet you Milo," Les said, placing out his hand. Milo shook his hand, a little ucertain. "You too," Milo said. "Well, I uh, better go say good-bye to the girls," Les said. "Okay good, well uh, thanks for bringing the girls back Les," Andy said. "No problem," Les said walking out the door. "So did you need something?" Andy asked. "What? Oh, um..I just wanted to ask you a question," Milo said. "Okay," Andy said. "What was Les doing here?" Milo asked. "Oh, he was just making sure the girls got in okay. He flew with them because I don't like them flying alone you know..." Andy said, walking over to her desk. "Oh. Okay," Milo said, still unsure. Andy could sense this in his voice. "Milo, it's okay," Andy said, leaning on her desk. Milo sighed. "I know it's just..." Milo said, walking over to her. Andy smiled at him, knowing exactly what he was thinking. "I know," Andy said. Milo smiled back at her. "So what was the question you were going to ask me?" Andy asked. "Oh. Have you told Lu and Lana yet?" Milo asked her. "You mean about the engement?" Andy asked. Milo nodded his head. "No not yet, I have dodging them all day. They know that something is up. I wanted to tell the girls first you know?" Andy asked. Milo nodded. "Well do you want to tell them together?" Milo asked her. "Sure," Andy said. "I'll go get them okay?" Andy asked. Milo nodded and Andy left to go and get everybody. She returned a moment later with Jesse, Lizzy, Lu, Lana, and Peter. Milo greeted everyone. "Um..guys..we have something that we want to tell you," Andy said, looking at Milo. She grabbed Milo's hand. "Milo and I are getting married," Andy said, smiling. "What?" Lu and Lana said. "Yeah," Andy said, still smiling. "When?" Lana asked. "We don't know yet. We haven't talked about plans yet," Andy said. "Well congratulations!" Lu said, giving her friends a hug. After everyone sat around and talked for a few mintues, it was time to get back to work. Jesse and Lizzy said that they were gonna go up and get some lunch. After everyone left Andy's office, Milo turned to her. "How does dinner at my apartment tonight sound?" Milo asked her. "That sounds good," Andy said. "Okay, well I have to go," Milo said. "Okay. bye," Andy said, kissing him. "Bye," Milo said, kissing her back.

Chapter 6: Tell Me The Truth

Andy was driving to Milo's house with the radio playing. After a song the DJ came on. "Okay folks, we have a caller here, what's your name caller?" the DJ said. "Hi, my name is Les Campbell," the caller said. Andy's jaw dropped. "I just wanted to say that I'm still in love with my ex-wife Andy Campbell and I want her to give me another chance," Les said. Andy's heart started to beat heavily. "Okay well thanks for calling and Andy, if you're out there, give this great guy another chance. Andy drove the rest of the way to Milo's shocked. "Should I tell Milo or not?" she wondered.Andy pulled into Milo's drive-way A few mintues later she pulled up in Milo's driveway. She turned off the car and walked up to the door. She knocked on the door and thirty seconds later, Milo answered the door. He greeted her with a smile and a kiss. As she walked in, she could hear soft music playing as he took off her coat. She followed him into the kitchen and Milo leaned up against the counter. "So have you thought about wedding plans?" Milo asked her. "How could I not?" Andy said, walking over to him. Milo smiled at her, she smiled back at him. They stared into each other's eyes until the oven went off, snapping them out of their gaze. Milo walked over to the oven and got the dinner out. Andy and Milo ate their dinner and then went into the living room. She took her shoes off and sat down on the couch. Milo did the same. She layed her head on his shoulder and he kissed her on her head. "So about our wedding..." Milo said. "Andy smiled. "Yeah?" she said, still smiling. "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked. "Sure" Andy said. "Well when do you want to get married?" Milo asked her. "Well I have always dreamed of getting married in the winter," Andy said. "That sounds nice," Milo said. "Really?" Andy said. She sat up and looked at him. "Yeah, it sounds good," Milo said. Andy smiled at him and kissed him. It was a sweet gentle kiss. "Thank you," Andy said when they parted. Milo smiled at her. This time she pulled him in for a long passionate kiss. The kiss went on and on, and soon they forgot about talking about their wedding. Andy layed down on the couch, not parting from Milo's lips. They ended up making love and an hour later found themselves on the couch under a blanket. Milo had started the fire and they cuddled up underneath the blanket. Andy layed her head on his chest and felt the gentle rise and fall of his chest. Milo was stroking her hair and would sometimes kiss her on her head. She smiled up at him. "I love you," Milo whispered into her ear. His voice made Andy tingle. "I love you too," Andy said, kissing him on his lips. They layed their in each other's arms for another 15 minutes and Milo led her upstairs. He turned on the shower and let it heat up. He kissed her gently and led her into the shower. Twenty minutes later, they were laying on the bed. Milo stroking her damp hair and talking. About an hour later, they fall asleep in each other's arms.

Andy woke up to darkness in the room. She glanced at the clock. 4 a.m. She sighed and glanced at Milo and saw that he was still asleep. She tossed and turned for about an hour but could not get comfortable. After she got some-what comfortable she finally fell back asleep and fell into a deep dream.

It was Andy and Milo's wedding and Andy was getting ready for the wedding. She doing her hair when Lu walked in. "Hey Andy," Lu said. "Hey Delgado," Andy said tuning towards to her. "You look amazing," Lu said. "Oh thanks Delgado," Andy said, finishing up her hair and touching up her make-up. "Hey Andy I was wondering if we could talk?" Lu asked her. "Um..I don't know Delgado. Jesse is going to come and get me when it's time to go out and it should be any mintue," Andy said turning back to Lu. "Okay I'll make this quick because it's imporant and I think that you should know," Lu said. "Okay if you hurry," Andy said still looking at Lu. "Well Andy um..." Lu said but then Jesse walked in. "Hey mom, it's time," Jesse said. Andy nodded. "Thanks Jesse I'm coming," Andy said, standing up. "Andy..." Lu said. "Delgado can this wait until after the wedding?" Andy asked her, walking out the door. Andy started to walk away. "Milo is having an affair!" Lu called out to her. Andy stopped dead in her tracks and slowly turned around. "What did you say?" Andy said, walking towards Lu. "Milo is having a uh, an affair," Lu said to her. Andy shook her head. "No..no..."Andy said. Lu nodded her head. "Yeah Andy. I know. I found out," Lu said. Tears started to fall down Andy's face. "He can't be...you have to be thinking of somebody else," Andy said, her tears falling down like a waterfall. "No..it's Milo," Lu said. "Well uh, would you please get Milo for me?" Andy asked Lu. Lu nodded and left to go and get Milo. Milo came back a couple mintues later, Lu following right behind. She made sure that Andy and Milo were in a room with the door shut and she left to give them some privacy. "Is something wrong Andy?" Milo asked her. Tears were still flowing down Andy's face. "Milo um..Lu is telling me that you're um..having a uh, an affair?" Andy said, looking up at Milo. Milo was silent. "Milo is it true?" Andy said, crying. Milo was silent. "Milo, tell me the truth," Andy said. "Andy..."Milo began

Andy woke up right away and sat up. She was breathing heavily. This caused Milo to wake up. "Andy? What's wrong?" Milo asked, sleepily. Andy looked at the clock. 6 a.m. She sighed and looked at Milo. "I just had a really bad dream," Andy said. "Oh? What about?" Milo asked. "Us. Our wedding," Andy said. Milo sat up. "How would that be a bad dream?" he asked her. "Milo...are you having an affair?" Andy asked. Milo looked shocked. "What?" he said. "Tell me the truth...are you having an affair?" Andy asked him. "No! Where would you get an idea like that?" Milo asked her. "I don't know...it was just part of my dream! That's why it was a bad one," Andy said. Milo sighed and looked into her eyes. "Andy...I love you so much. I am not..not ever..going to have an affair. There is no one else for me but you. You're the only one for me," Milo said. Andy's heart melted. Andy smiled at him. "I love you too. Thank you," Andy said. Milo smiled at her. He kissed her on the lips and layed back down. Andy layed back too and rested her head on his chest. He kissed her on the head and sighed. Andy looked up at him and kissed him. "I love you Milo," Andy said. "I love you too, Andy," Milo said. And with that they fell asleep in each other's arms once again.


Andy and Milo woke three hours later. Andy turned over to face Milo. She smiled at him. "I'm sorry about last night," Andy said. Milo smiled at her. "Don't worry about it," Milo said. "Okay, it's just that that idea of you..." Andy said. "Having an affair? Andy, like I told you last night, I wouldn't even dream of having an affair," Milo said, inturrpting her. She smiled at him and kissed him on the lips. "I don't even know why I was dreaming that," Andy said when they parted. "Well probably just uh, pre-wedding jitters," Milo said. Andy laughed. "Even though our wedding won't be for a while," Andy said. Milo nodded. "So what month of winter would you like to get married in?" Milo asked her. "Um..I was thinking maybe December?" Andy told him. "Like the first week so we can have a two week honeymoon and still be home in time for the holidays?" Andy said. "That sounds good," Milo said and he kissed her on the lips. "What time do you need to get the girls?" Milo asked. "um..not until 3." Andy said. Milo smiled at her. "So..we have almost all day together?" Milo asked her. Andy smiled at him. " Yeah I gues we do," Andy said. "Well what do you want to do today?" Milo asked her. "I don't know, what do you want to do?" Andy replied. "Well we could do all sorts of things," Milo said, getting closer to her. She smiled at him and he gently kissed her lips. They spent a half hour making love and then decided to get up and get dressed. Milo made her breakfast and then they went for a walk. They walked hand in hand around the park. "Andy..can I ask you something?" Milo asked. Andy stopped walking and faced him. "Sure, anything," Andy said. "You know that I'm not comfortable when Les is around right?" Milo asked her. Andy nodded her head. "What was Les really doing at the clinic?" Milo asked her. "He was just making sure the girls got in okay," Andy said. "If he saw them go into the clinic, wouldn't he know?" Milo asked her. "I don't know Milo..." Andy said. Milo sighed and walked ahead of her. "Milo, wait up," Andy said, following him. "What?" Milo asked in a rude way. He looked at the shocked look on Andy's face. "I'm sorry Andy," Milo said. "I just...when it comes to Les, you know where I stand," Milo said. Andy nodded. "I know, Milo" she said. "Andy..you know if we're going to be in this, we have to tell each other the truth," Milo said. Andy sighed. "I know Milo. And so I know I need to tell you this," Andy said. "Okay," Milo said. "When I was driving to your apartment last night I was listening to the radio and a caller came on to talk, and that caller was Les. He said that he still loved me and wanted to be back in my life," Andy said. Milo was looking at her with the same look that Andy had the night before. "What?" Milo asked almost in a whisper voice. "Les still loves me and wants me back," Andy said. She saw the anger starting to build up in Milo. Milo didn't say anything, just looked at her. "Milo, will you please something?" Andy said. "I...I..don't know what to say Andy," Milo said. Tears started to build up in Andy's eyes. Milo sighed and started to walk. "Milo, don't do this. Don't walk away. Talk to me, please." Andy said, as a few tears started to fall down her face. Milo turned around. "I can't Andy," Milo said. "Why not?" Andy asked him as a few more tears fell down her face. "I just don't know what to say," Milo said. More and more tears started to fall down Andy's face. "Look Andy, what do you think about what Les said?" Milo asked her. "I..I don't know," Andy said. This made Milo a little more angry. "Fine, then I'll leave you alone for awhile so you can think about it," Milo said and he started to walk off. "Milo! Milo don't do this!" Andy yelled after him, but Milo ignored her. Tears were flowing down Andy's face and they wouldn't stop. After she stopped she walked back to Milo's aparment and got into her car and left. Milo watched Andy walk back and leave. "What did I do?" he wondered. He sighed and spent the rest of the day alone. Later that night as he went to bed alone he kept thinking about her. But then again, Andy is always on his mind. He fell asleep into a deep dream:

It was 10 years from now and Milo was alone like a dog. After that day in the park they never really connected anymore. Andy went back to Les and had two more kids. A little boy and a little girl-twins. They were still friends and talked every now and then. He kicked himself every day for letting her get away. Yes, he was jealous when Andy and the girls talked about Les but he was okay. But then that one day... He never loved anyone else. He told her that she was the only for him and he would never love anyone else..ever. And he hasn't. He always regretted that he walked away that day. He should have stayed and talked with her, but he let her get away. He walked away from his love, his life-which was her. He hated seeing Andy and Les together. Lu and him were talking one day when Andy walked by. She had a huge bruise on her arm. He looked at her but didn't say anything. After she walked by he looked at Lu. Lu nodded her head. "Yeah, she won't do anything about it," Lu said, almost crying. If only he hadn't let her go, she would be safe-safe in his arms. He never wanted her to be harmed. He would die for her. Later that day, as he was talking to Andy, he found some more bruises. There was on her face, which was starting to heal. He saw one on her ankle as he bent down to pick up his pen. And when Les came by with the twins, he saw bruises on them as well. He was about to something to Les...

The loud ring of the phone woke him up. It was Lu, calling about Andy.

Is she okay?" Milo asked Lu over the phone. "I think so...she's at home. I took the girls for the night," Lu said. "Well what happend?" Milo asked her. "I think that is for her to tell you," Lu said. "Okay I'm going over there," Milo said. "Okay bye Milo," Lu said and hung up. Milo hung up the phone and got dressed as fast as he could. He hopped into his car and drove over to Andy's. He knocked on the door but no one answered. "Andy? Andy...it's Milo!" Milo called out. A minute later Andy was at the door. She had a huge mark on her face and more on her arms. Tears were falling down her face. "Hey," Andy said quietly. "Andy.." Milo said. "It's a long story," Andy said whispering. "Well I have all night, can I come in?" Milo said. Andy nodded her head and opened the door wider so Milo could come in. He followed her to the couch. "Andy..what happend?" Milo asked her when they sat down. Andy sighed. "Les was over here when I came home from your apartment. He asked me where I was and I told him. He didn't do anything, just got a little mad. Jesse and Lizzy asked if he could uh, stay for dinner and I said okay. Then um...when the girls were upstairs he got mad and went crazy," Andy said, tears falling down her face. Milo eye's never left her and he was quiet. "The girls uh, came downstairs and saw him...hitting me," Andy said, crying. "He went crazy again and ran towards the girls," Andy said, still crying. "Did he.."Milo asked her. "He tried but I stood in front of them. Les got mad about that and he grabbed my arms. I..I..told the girls to go and call the police and he twisted my arms and threw me against the wall. He banged my head against the wall and then left," Andy said, with her tears coming down non-stop. "The girls called Lu and..."Andy said. "Yeah," Milo said. "It's all my fault, if only I hadn't made him mad," Andy said. Milo looked into her wet eyes. "No Andy..it's not your fault. It wasn't your fault the first time he hit you and it wasn't your fault his time, okay?" Milo said. Andy just nodded her head. "He said..he said that um..I should be with him and not you.." Andy said. "Hey, it's okay, he can't take you away from me," Milo said, taking her in his arms. She buried her head into his chest, crying. Milo gently stroked her shoulder. "Shhh..Andy it's okay. I'm here, i'm here," Milo said, tears starting to build up in his eyes. After a few minutes of Andy laying there crying, she looked up at him. Tears were still falling down Andy's fragile face. "I'm sorry," Andy said. "For what?" Milo asked her. "For today," Andy said. "Me too, Andy," Milo said. He kissed her on top of her glossy hair. "Do you want me to stay here with you tonight?" Milo asked her. Andy nodded her head. "Could you?" Andy asked him. "Of course," Milo said. "Thank you," Andy said, smiling a little. Milo nodded his head. They got up and Milo grabbed her hand. He led her upstairs and she changed into her pajamas. He sat on the bed with her while she fell asleep. After 15 minutes, he thought she was asleep and he started to get up. He didn't know what time the girls would be home tomorrow and he didn't want them to see them asleep together. Not until they were married anyway. As he got up, Andy touched his arm. "Don't leave, please," Andy said. "I'm not leaving Andy. I'm going down to the couch in case the girls come home while we're asleep," Milo said. "They have to get used to us sleeping in the same bed. Please?" Andy said sleepily. Milo layed back down on the bed and Andy moved over to him. She layed her head on his chest and snuggled into him. Five minutes later, they were both asleep.


Milo opened his eyes the next morning. He looked over to Andy. Her glossy hair was spread over the pillow. He watched the gentle rise and fall of her chest. She seemed so peaceful when she was asleep. He leaned over and kissed her cheek. Andy turned over and opened her eyes. Her lips formed a smile, but yet is wasn't a smile. "What's wrong?" Milo asked her. "My face, arms and head hurt," Andy said. "Do we need Lu to check you out?" Milo asked her. Andy shook her head. "No..I'll be fine," Andy said. "Andy you could be.."Milo began. "I'm fine Milo," Andy said. "What time are the girls going to be back home?" Milo asked her. "I don't know. Lu said that she would call," Andy said. Milo nodded his head. "Are you sure that you're okay?" Milo asked her. "Yes Milo, I'm fine," Andy said. "Andy don't you think that you should maybe go to the police and tell them what happened?" Milo asked her. "I already did. Lu called them for me. They said they would do what they had to do," Andy said. "Okay" Milo said."Hey. don't worry," Andy said. "Andy..how can I not worry? I love you and will always get worried when something happens to you," Milo said. Andy smiled at him, even though it hurt. "Thanks. I love you too," Andy said and kissed him gently on the lips. When they parted the phone rang. "Campbell," Andy said, answering the phone. "Hey Delgado," Andy said. Lu and Andy talked for a few minutes. "Okay thanks Lu, bye," Andy said and she hung up the phone. "Delgado is on her way here with the girls," Andy told Milo. Milo nodded his head. "Then I guess I should go," Milo said. Andy shook her head. "No that's okay, you can stay," Andy said. "Okay," Milo said. "How is your face?" Milo asked her, touching it gently. "It hurts," Andy said. "I really think that Lu should check it," Milo said. Andy shook her head. "No I'm fine," Andy said. "Okay," Milo said and kissed her on her head.


Twenty minutes later, Lu arrived with Jesse and Lizzy. Jesse and Lizzy ran out of the car to their mom. Andy wrapped both her arms around them and kissed them on their heads. "Are you okay mommy?" Lizzy asked, looking at her mom. "I'm fine sweetie," Andy said. "Are you sure mom? We think Lu should check you out," Jesse said. She looked at Milo. He gave her a look that said 'you should' "If Delgado would do it later today," Andy said. "Sure, just come and find me later at work. Oh and Andy, if you don't want to work today, I'll cover for you," Lu said, walking out the door. "Thanks Delgado but I think I will work today," Andy said. "Are you sure?" Lu asked. Andy nodded her head. "I'll just be coming in a little late," Andy said. "Okay, see ya," Lu said, getting into her car. "Bye Delgado," Andy said and walked back into the house. "Andy, are you sure that you should be working today?" Milo asked her. Andy nodded her head. "I'll be fine. It will help keep my mind on things," Andy said. "Okay," Milo said. "Um..girls would you go upstairs so I could talk to Milo for a mintue?" Andy asked. The girls nodded their head yes and went upstairs. "Andy, if you're going into work today, I am too," Milo said. "But Milo, today is your day off," Andy said. "So?" Milo asked her. "So...you don't have to be with me at work," Andy said. "Yes I do, because I love you. Plus, we could talk about wedding plans at lunch," Milo told her. Andy smiled. "Okay, well I have to go home and get ready, okay?" Milo asked. Andy nodded her head. "I love you," Milo said, heading towards the door. Andy followed him. "I love you too," And said. Milo kissed her gently and left her alone to get ready for work.
